Hello Rag Rug Creators,
I will be demonstrating at the Caladium Arts & Crafts Co-Operative from about 9 am to 1 pm on July 28 & 29, 2017. This is during the annual Caladium Festival in Lake Placid, Florida. The Caladium Arts & Crafts Co-Operative has a fantastic artist's run showroom of local artisan's wares that can be purchased as well as enjoyed. The CACC has a huge focus on education and offers classes in several different Arts & Crafts. Myself and a few others will be demonstrating how we create and do our craft. I do not sell my rugs there however I do teach there during the winter season. My first class of the season is October 21, 2017.
The Caladium Arts & Crafts Co-Operative is located at 132 E Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid, FL. You can find them on Facebook. Even if you are unable to attend these events Lake Placid and Caladium Arts & Crafts Co-Operative would make a nice day trip. Lake Placid is a quaint little town known for it's many murals and being the Caladium Capital of the world. The Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce has a wealth of knowledge and can provide info on the town and locations of the murals.
